How can you make a difference?
UNICEF China works with corporate partners to support UNICEF’s programmes for children. We are now seeking for an experienced sales professional to manage and drive our strategic Corporate Fundraising Agenda to raise resources to support our programmes for children in China. This entails:
·Lead a team to identify, assess, and negotiate new corporate partnerships to support UNICEF’s programmes
·Strengthen existing corporate partnerships, grow value, renew, and fulfil agreed obligations
·Identify assets and influences of corporate partners to create strategic engagement opportunities that support the company’s and UNICEF’s mission to improve the lives of children
·Work with the global corporate partnerships teams in Geneva and Bangkok to ensure global best practice is implemented in China
·Work closely with UNICEF programme teams to plan and coordinate field visits with corporate partners
·Effectively manage the corporate fundraising team, supervise staff, develop work plans, guide and support
To qualify, you will have…
·An advanced university degree (Master’s) in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or other related field. Exceptionally, a bachelor’s degree with additional work experience may be accepted
·At least eight years of relevant professional experience in sales, corporate social responsibility, public relations, cause related marketing or other related area
·Experience from large international private sector organisations is an asset
·Managerial and supervisory experience
·Proven ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
·Familiarity with the UN or international development organizations is an asset
·Fluency in English and Mandarin
