In October, the 17th Session of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People’s Congress reviewed the Charity Law of the People’s Republic of China (Draft) (中华人民共和国慈善事业法（草案）) for the first time. The Draft that will cover charitable organizations and activities in China has now been put on the NPC website (http://www.npc.gov.cn/) for public consultation. The contents of the Draft are displayed on the website in full. Comments about the draft can be made via the NPC website or by posting to the address listed below. The deadline for comments is the 30th November 2015.
