Operation Smile, Oxfam and another six overseas NGOs register in Yunnan

Yunnan’s Public Security Bureau (PSB) has awarded registration credentials and chief representative certificates to the Yunnan representative offices of eight overseas NGOs on July 27th. In addition to Oxfam (HK), which had already registered in Guangdong an Gansu, other organizations to register include Operation Smile (USA), Bless China International (USA), China California Heart Watch (USA), Morningstar (HK) and the Salvation Army (HK). After the ceremony, the Overseas Nongovernmental Organization Management Office of the PSB held separate talks with the representatives of Morningstar and Oxfam. Beijing’s Public Security Bureau (PSB) has awarded registration credentials and chief representative certificates to the Beijing representative offices of 15 overseas NGOs on June 30th. It was reported two days ago that Shanxi’s Public Security Bureau (PSB) awarded registration credentials and chief representative certificates to the representative offices of two overseas NGOs, the Hong Kong Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce and the well-known US organization Global Volunteers. It was reported yesterday that Beijing’s Public Security Bureau (PSB) recently awarded registration credentials and chief representative certificates to the Beijing representative offices of five overseas NGOs. In addition to the Nature Conservancy, on whose registration we already reported last week, the other four are the Business Software Alliance (USA), Mongolia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, and the Korean Copyright Commission.
