Slum Children Support
The Rainbow Volunteer Club has been working indirectly with the Bhelukhel slum community. Our main focus is to develop a team spirit, interest in school and behavioral change in children. In addition to that, we make children aware of child marriage and personal hygiene through stories and videos. The Rainbow Volunteer Club partnered with the Happy Kids Center in 2019, sending volunteers every week to organize creative activities to develop the children's interest in their school work.

Rainbow Volunteer Club initiated this project to send volunteers in community schools in 2018. Our volunteers help the school students with English language classes, computer classes and organizing activities that interest children. The project was launched to strengthen the community schools, and with our intervention community schools where we work have been able to include ECA as part of their curriculum. To ensure we provide the best support to uplift the quality of education in community schools in Nepal, we invite volunteers from within the country and across the world to support our mission.

Rainbow Orphan Rescue
By providing private school education to the kids, our aim is to support children residing in the orphanage to get formal schooling, and we provide child-friendly creative activities for children throughout the academic sessions. We also dedicate ourselves to find permanent sponsors for the children so their education is supported in the long term. Our secondary goal is to support children to grow up as a family and be able to form healthy bonds and relationships with orphanage owners, members, volunteers, friends and the community. Hence, they can enjoy an improved social status in the future. Not just formal education, children are also provided weekly tuition classes and fun recreational and refreshment outings. The Rainbow Volunteer Club also established a small library inside the orphanage, allowing children to indulge in books and build up their reading habits.
