Headquartered in the United States, CMB has an office in Beijing. The CMB Beijing Representative Office is registered under the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Public Security, with the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China as the professional supervisory agency.
The CMB Beijing Representative Office is currently seeking an outstanding and experienced applicant for the position of Program Director. The Program Director position is a senior program position at CMB. The person recruited for this exciting new role will help develop and implement new CMB programs and will manage and administer programs supported and facilitated by CMB. Reporting to the Chief Representative of the Beijing Office, the Program Director will be a key member of the leadership team. The Program Director will also interact closely with the CMB President and other senior staff in the United States.

Work Schedule: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Education: Medical Doctor (M.D.) or doctoral degree in a related area of medicine, health care, or public health from an internationally recognized university.
Experience: Minimum five years working experience at international university, public health or healthcare organizations.
Language: Excellent English and Chinese (Mandarin) language with proficiency in both written and oral communication.

Strong technical expertise and experience with healthcare, medical education and/or population health, including both a broad knowledge of trends around the world and recognized in-depth professional or academic expertise in one or more sub-fields. Overall program development
Participate in the strategic planning of the CMB programs in China including vision, mission, short-term and long-term goals, including engaging external individuals and organizations as an important element of assessing needs and level of interest in specific program areas
Provide analysis of previous programs
Consider and evaluate potential directions and areas for new grants and programs
Promote multi-disciplinary approaches by actively engaging internal and external stakeholders
Direct-operation program management
Design, implement, and manage direct-operating projects: training, study tours, workshops and conferences
Manage and promote CMB’s working relationships between trustees and partners to help achieve CMB mission
Coordinate activities among the staff and partners facilitating connections across the organization and developing and sustaining relationships
Draft and disseminate requests for proposals, coordinate abstract and proposal review
Develop and manage contracts
Assist in the preparation of materials for the trustees
Participate in preparation of government plans and reports
Respond to and solve individual inquires and requirements from grantees
Other research, administrative, and office operation related assignments and duties, as requested
